The design represents the encounter with God as told in the story of Jacob’s ladder though it is open enough in its interpretation to allow each viewer to construct their own meaning. The intent was to create a sense of mystery and reverence.

- Materials: Cast glass with fused frit and laminated dichroic glass shards. The doors roll and pivot back into the Ark by means of wheels on tracks at the top and bottom of each door.
