Carmelite Monastery

Overview

This work is comprised of four sliding doors, which separate the sanctuary altar and the daily worship chapel, providing privacy while creating a sense of openness. The imagery expresses the beliefs of the Carmelite order, particularly the symbolic significance of water representing spiritual regeneration.

Leaded beveled antique glass with cast glass prisms, white glass paint and laminated-segmented bevels and jewels.
