This pair of doors into the living room from the entry foyer is composed of laminated prismatic low iron glass. The intricacy of the pattern is created with the layering effect of the prismatic glass laminated on both sides of the base sheet of glass, which creates a dynamic visual effect as the work is viewed from different perspectives. The composition establishes a formal appearance with a degree of lyricism in the organization of the elements, while the prismatic glass adds a touch of exuberance as it transforms light into prismatic colors which are cast upon the floor of the entry foyer.
