"Declaration", Tallahassee, FL

Located in traffic circle that is in the center of a new re-development area in Tallahassee adjacent to the Florida State University stadium is the sculpture that serves as the identity for the district. The sculpture is composed of dichroic glass elements suspended on stainless steel cables that are secured to a circular stainless steel ring that is supported with stainless steel tubes. Sitting in the center at the top is a high intensity LED light encased in a perforated stainless steel housing, which casts light more than 50,000’ upward.
