Located on the top of the Hunt Oil Tower in downtown Dallas is the employee dining room for Hunt Oil employees, the feature element of which is a sculptural glass and light work that was created in tribute to the founder of the company,  H L Hunt.  

 

The work is a free standing curved backdrop in which glass prisms are suspended with stainless steel cables.  These glass prisms and  are illuminated  with projected LED lights which are programmed to change colors on a daily cycle.

 

The work commemorates the date of the founding of Hunt Oil by H L Hunt by its symbolic representation of the celestial alignment on the founding date of December 18, 1934.
